The beaches of Fuerteventura go on for miles, but once in a while you’re able to capture a truly poignant moment that really touches you.

I managed to capture this elderly gentleman one early morning, as he slowly made his way across the beach. I waited till he was exactly in the middle of the water and took my shot. 
The fabric of those looming clouds entwined with natural light, reflecting against those personal footprints, combined with this persons journey made for a fantastic image. I believe he must of been thinking to himself, In my Own Time.

I've treated the image in a way so you see it differently if your close up or further way, which echos how you can interpret peoples actions. The graphical circles represent the movement of time (along with the sun and moon), where you could imagine them all turning at different speeds but giving perfect motion.

These have been frozen in time, which is what a photo actually represents.
